Yellowstone National Park
Visit Yellowstone National Park and experience the world’s first, and most iconic, national park. The Park is simply magical. You will be amazed at a volcano’s hidden power rising up in colorful hot springs, mudpots, and geysers. The mountains, forests, and lakes are there to explore. You can watch wildlife and witness the drama of the natural world unfold. 2022 is the 150th anniversary of congress designating Yellowstone as a national park. Enjoy the history that led to the conservation of our national treasures “for the benefit and enjoyment of the people” by spending time in the museums and visitor centers inside the Park.
The lodging in Yellowstone is amazing, the iconic Old Faithful Inn, the new Washburn Lodge in Canyon Village, the stunning Lake Hotel, the wonderfully rustic Roosevelt Lodge with its old west charm, and the beautiful Mammoth Hotel at the north entrance. With that said, it is difficult to find lodging inside the Park. At each entrance to the Park are charming, small communities that also have a fair amount of lodging to choose from, so always know there are options if you aren’t staying inside the Park.
