Lewis & Clark Caverns
Lewis and Clark Caverns are a bit off the beaten path but well worth it. Located 19 miles south of Three Forks, the caverns are accessed by guided tours only. From the Visitor Center, it is a 2 mile hike to the caverns entrance. It is a good idea to have a bottle of water with you as it is generally warm on the hike. The caverns are truly amazing and is one of the most highly decorated limestone caverns in the Northwest. The caverns offer a holiday candlelight tour which is truly magical.
