Getting to Georgetown Lake
Georgetown Lake is located between Philipsburg and Anaconda Montana along Scenic Highway 1. If you are driving west from Butte on I-90, take the Anaconda exit and you will be at the lake in 20 minutes. If you are driving east from Missoula on I-90, exit at Drummond, Montana and say on Highway 1 to the Lake. If you are staying at the Lake, great, but if you are simply out to enjoy the scenic drive in either direction say on Highway 1 and you will get back to I-90.
Georgetown Lake is located in southwest Montana between Anaconda and Philipsburg. Butte Airport is an hour away via I-90 (west) to MT Scenic Hwy 1 (Opportunity / Anaconda exit). Highway 1 takes you thru the town of Anaconda – the speed limit is 25!!! Missoula, Montana is a bit under 2 hours away via I-90 (east) to Mt-Hwy 1 at Drummond exit.
