Gallatin River ZipLine

Gallatin River ZipLine is located in Gallatin Gateway, between Bozeman and Big Sky, Montana.  This convenient location is about 20 minutes south of I-90 on Highway 191a and  just over an hour drive North on Highway 191 from West Yellowstone. The dramatic scenery includes towering limestone cliffs, pine forests and a rushing river. This is the area where the movie, A River Runs Through It, was filmed. On these tours, the Classic and Super, you start by ascending sky bridges to a tree platform 55ft in the air! Both tours have two Zips crossing the Gallatin River! The Super Zip adds to the experience with more challenging adventure elements. Engaging and enthusiastic guides will enhance the tour, making this a truly memorable experience.

Gallatin River CLASSIC ZipLine Tour:

The Guided Gallatin River Classic Zip takes you soaring from the mighty Douglas Fir trees over the beautiful Yellowstone Sage and Juniper ecosystem of the Gallatin Canyon. With Limestone cliffs as a back drop you will fly from tree platforms to multi-deck towers and across the Gallatin River. This tour is a great option for families, first timers and thrill-seekers alike!

3 zips • 3 sky bridges • 1 ladder – Each trip takes about 2 hours. Maximum group size of 12.

Gallatin River SUPER ZipLine Tour

Can’t get enough zipping? Join us for a Super Zip tour to crank up the excitement! This tour includes all aspects of the Classic, with three additional zips and four more adventure elements. Test your balance on our swaying wooden bridges or try our optional cargo net! This dynamic tour is a unique zip line experience for the challenge-seekers of the family.  6 Zip Lines • 6 Sky Bridges • 2 Ladders.  Each trip takes about 3.5 hours. Maximum group size of 9. Add a Half-Day Raft trip for $42

The meeting location for the Gallatin River ZipLine Tours is at Montana Whitewater’s Gallatin Canyon Main Office. It is between Bozeman and Big Sky, Montana – at Mile Marker 64 Highway 191 – 63960 Gallatin Rd., Gallatin Gateway, MT 59730

They will shuttle you 2 miles (North) down the road to our zip line site on the Gallatin River, located across the river from Rock Haven Camp. Do not park at the camp.
