Ennis Montana 4th of July Rodeo and Parade
4th of July is generally a big deal in Montana. For starters, we believe summer starts with the 4th of July so we jump in with both feet! Parades, Fireman’s Breakfast, and of course, a rodeo! The Ennis Rodeo is one of the best of the summer and attracts top talent from around the Northwest.
Red, white and blue bunting, flags and flowers hang from the shops on Main Street. Rough stock arrives and grazes on the pasture by the rodeo grounds. Cowboys roll through town with their rigs all with the hope of a great draw and a great ride.
The Ennis Montana Rodeo has been a tradition since about 1950. Prior to that, you would find the Rodeo on Main Street with the local cowboys showing off their skills!
July 3rd is the first night of the rodeo with the finals on July 4th. You will find cold beer, burgers & dogs, popcorn and more.
