Bridger Bowl, located 16 miles north of Bozeman, Montana on State Highway 86 (MT-86). For a “local” mountain, Bridger gives you the experience of a bigger mountain but the ambiance of a local ski area full of customer service and friendly folks. With a dedicated Beginner’s Area, including 2 covered conveyor lifts, a chairlift, and a warming hut, Bridger has a lot of offer the up an coming skier. Skiing on the north side is for the more experienced beginner and intermediate skier with easy access to 500 acres of low angle powder and groomers. Ridge terrain offers an impressive variety of steeps and natural features for advanced skiers and riders. Bridger Bowl ski area boasts some of the best skiing in the Rockies for a fraction of the price!

Discovery has three faces. The front face is the perfect blend of gently sloping runs and more advanced groomed cruisers. Off the Granite Chair, things step up a notch with steeper groomed runs and mogul skiing. And the backside? Well, imagine the Chugach without the costly helicopter ride. Point is, we have great terrain and lots of it. No matter what kind of mountain you like, you just discovered it.
Discovery also offers a lot of downhill thrills during the summer months at the Discovery Bike Park from June 18th through October. The trails are intermediate to advanced with loads of features for downhill riders to enjoy. You can learn more about the bike park by going here.
